Another Pakistani prisoner in Indian Prison, Abdul Jabbar attacked in Tihar jail

Another Pakistani prisoner in Indian Prison, Abdul Jabbar (residence of Lahore), reportedly attacked in Tihar jail in India on Tuesday and is in critical condition.

Two Indian prisoners, Ajay Kumar and Ranjeet, allegedly attacked Abdul Jabbar’s face and neck with a blade, leaving him injured.

After attack on Pakistani prisoners life in Indian Jail, Jabbar was shifted to the jail infirmary to apparently keep the incident out of the media limelight so as to not incite more tit-for-tat attacks.

Abdul Jabbar was arrested after his visit visa to India expired and was charged with committing espionage for Pakistan. He has so far spent 9 years imprisoned in Tihar Jail.
