National Students Union Of India (NSUI) the frontal organization of Congress Party decided to to conduct organizational elections first time in history of Punjab. The membership for this election process has been started from the first October. Membership will go on till 30 October. The state level president would be elected in first month of November. It has been disclosed by the Amrita Dhawan the national secretary of the NSUI in a press conference at heritage club today. She is also the incharge of NSUI Punjab.
Amrita said, NSUI have already covered 21 states in two years under election process. In November the state President of NSUI Punjab would be elected.In first phase in every educational institution 50 students have been enrolled as the members of NSUI. After the election of college level unit the district president would be elect. The student have under 27 year age would take the member ship of the NSUI, the member should be the student of the college or school.All the members should compulsory fill the membership forms of the organization, added Amrita.
Amrita said, during membership campaign the policies of congress party would also be advertised among the students, and students would be united on their common problems and issues related education.Any student related with criminal back ground would not be enrolled as the member of NSUI. Ex state coordinator of NSUI Gautam Majathia, Ankur Gupta, Ex district president Sachin Mehra, Gautam Arora,Ashwani Sunny, Anil Tiwari,Tajonder Sonu,Vinay Kapoor, Amritpal Shori, Mani Chopra, Depika were also present this time.
