Hundreds activists of National Students Federation (NSF) burnt the effigy of Bollywood actor Salman Khan at the out side of local Hindu College. Students demanded registration of a case against the Salman Khan. NSF activists also shouted slogans against the actor. Agitators also demanded a ban on Salman Khan to give any statement about the internal security and any types of circumstances of our country to any TV channels.
Keshav Kohli, district president of NSF said, Salman has totally absolved the Pakistan Government for 26/11 attack at Mumbai. The death of a rich or a poor person has the same value. Salman already have been involved in different issues. Salman has tendered apologies but he has not been acquitted of the charges. We appeal Censor Board to impose ban on the films of Salman Khan. added Kohli.
Kohli said NSF has extended support to the agitation undertaken by ETT teachers. He appealed the Punjab government to accept all the demands of ETT teachers as soon as possible and also release all the arrested ETT
teachers. If government fails to solve the problems at the earliest NSF would also take part in the movement. Leaders of NSF Mehak Rajpoot, Aditya Sharma, Lovely Sandhu, Pankaj
Kanojia, Gursimranpreet Singh, Lalit Kumar, Vikram
Sharma, Vikramjit Singh and Vivek Sharma also addressed
the students.
