EMPLOYEES OF WATER SUPPLY GHAROO MLA mAJATHIA'S HOUSE

Ad-hoc Employees of Water Supply department staged a protest rally at the front of resident of Bikramjeet Singh Majithia , MLA today under the banner head of Karamchari Dal Punjab. Agitators also submitted the memorandum of their demands to Majithia and reminded him of the promise that had been taken by Majithia with the employees a few months ago in a Bhog ceremony of an employee.
Thousands of daily wages employees of water supply and sewage board department conducted a protest march in the different area of the city. Employees lauded the slogans against the anti employees policies of Punjab Government.
Agitator employees of department gathered first at district head quarter office of water supply and sewage board from the others districts. There employees organised the rally and delivered the lectures regarding the anti employees and anti people policies of Government.
Leaders of Karamchari Dal also expressed their views on the movement of the employees that has been launched since 20 years for their demands.
Suknandan Singh Mahnia and Sukhdev Singh Kooka, the leader of Karamchari Dal said Punjab Government has promised to the adhock employees to regularise their services, but has now forgot their promises. Approximately 3500 Ad hock employees of department have been fighting for there rights since 20 years.
Many times Government announced to accept this demand of employees, but has not issued notification about implementation of there demands.
Punjab Government have announced to regularise the services of 14000 teachers but totally ignored the 3500 water supply adhock employees, added the leaders.
Leaders warned if government will not accept their demands then the employees would create problems in the rallies of leaders of SAD and Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP). The leaders of employees Harjit Moga, Mukesh Kumar, Bikramjeet Singh Khalsa, Kashmir Singh, Jatinder Singh, Sarabjeet Singh, Hardeep Singh, Randheet Singh and Ashwani Kumar also addressed the agitators.
