Peoples of Islamabad area staged a protest rally against the anti people policies of district administration. Protesters also lauded the slogans against the district administration. Senior congress leader Pramod Kumar Babla leaded the agitators. Protester passed a resolution if district administration would not make services lane under the newly constructed over bridge then they would not allow to inaugurate the way of over bridge of Islamabad area . Prof. Darbari Lal the Ex deputy speaker of Punjab Assembly also addressed the agitators and warned the administration of voice of the peoples have not be listened the peoples would be free for long run agitation against the administration.Peoples also announced they will unfurled black flags when the VIP will came to inaugurate the over bridge.
Prof Lal said, the whole business of peoples of the Islamabad area have badly effected due to newly constructed Over head bridge. District administration has already gave assurance to the peoples the service roads would be maintained properly. Now KS Pannu the DC of Amritsar announced the bridge would be open for the general public on October,20. But the service lanes have not be repaired till today.Different leaders from the area Surinder Shindha, Surinder Choudhary, Dev Dard and Prem Kumar also addressed the agitators.
