Joginder Singh Editor of Daily Punjabi Newspaper "Spokesman" published from Mohali appeared in a police inquiry , at civil line with their hundred of supporters today. Local Kotwali police station registered the against Joginder Singh on the statements of leaders of Sant Samaj and SGPC on 8 April under FIR no. 29. These leaders blamed that Editor wrote a objectionable and defamatory Editorial on 16March in his paper. Joginder Singh challenged the objections of the leaders of some groups and demanded to reinvestigation the facts thats have been imposed against him in FIR. So Government appointed ACP Avtar Singh the inquiry officer of this case and summoned the Joginder Singh to register his statement about the matter.
Joginder Singh said to inquiry officer Avtar Singh that Editorial written on 16 March is based on the matter that have been published in different book and has not defamatory from any sense. But the paper took apology about the Editorial on 18 March. Inquiry officer ordered to Joginder Singh to submit the books on next date that have been the ground of the objectionable Editorial.
After facing the inquiry officer Joginder Singh addressed his supporters that Parkash Singh Badal the CM imposed the silent dictator ship in the state. Any person or media group lauded the voice against the anti people policies of CM and his part, that person and media group badly harassed by the CM and his persons. Badal openly used the police and other enforcement and even the intelligences for there personal purpose and with the help of these agencies CM also imposed the sensor ship on the media groups also.We would totally oppose the anti people and anti panthak activities of Badal and his supporters, added Joginder Singh. This time Senior Akali leaders Baldev singh Sirsa, Mohan Singh Mattia, Gursewak Singh, Lakhbeer Singh, Hardeep Singh and Raj Kumar Babbi , Charanjeet Singh Arora also addressed the peoples.
