The third day competition of 8th ONGC Annual All India Junior Hockey Gold Cup Tournament has been inaugurated by Sanjeev Khanna the chairman of Amritsar Improvement Trust today morning. Khanna appreciated the Amritsar Hockey Club to organize a big event of National level at holy city Amritsar. Khannal announced that a1000 sq yard plot would be allot for the Maharaja Ranjeet Singh hockey academy for the gust house of players.He also announced all the facilities would be provide to the Amritsar Hockey Club to organize big sports events.
Today total five Hockey matches has been organized. In first match UP hostel hockey team defeated Khdoor Sahoib teem with 4-0 goals. In second match RCF Kapurthala defeated Team of Ludhiana with 9-0 goals.In the third match Sports school Jallandhar defeated Guru Gobind Singh College Hockey team with 3-2 goals.. In 4th match Air Asia Malaysia defeated Killa Raipur team with 5-0 goals. In the 5th match Ranjeet Hockey Academy defeated Sai Hockey Academy with 4-2 goals.Officers of Amritsar Hockey club Balwinder Singh, Prabdiyal Singh, Gurmeet Singh, Sashi Bala were also present there.
